I'm back in Illinois currently. Mom went into the hospital and passed while I was on the road on the way back. She was almost 92 and had a hard but good life. She's at peace now with Dad.

I'm doing OK, I'm executor of the estate so I've been neck deep in paperwork. Fortunately my brother and sister and I have been getting along well during this process so there are no big family dramas.

I'd love to stop by and see a few of you on the way back, but I get a feeling that by the time I've got things taken care of around here I'll just want to get home.
