    I noted the cleaning paraphernalia.
I seem to remember your missus saying words to the effect that in your younger days you were a bit of a scrubber.

    (Couldn't help myself! Sorry!)

    (Sorry?...nah...not really...)

Believe me when I say that I would've enjoyed it too!

I remember when Roger Spears and I were leaving the Old Mare Run and got stuck in traffic. Fuses started burning a tad low with the snail's pace we were proceeding at.
We finally got out of it...within five minutes at full noise on a clear road I had a grin from ear to ear like a cat that had swallowed the cream!

That's why I could never drive an electric car; they have no soul.
Whereas the rumble of a V8 under load...bloody gorgeous!

In my memory that smile erupted on the on-ramp to the highway, when we were accelerating to get up to highway speed heading up the hill.... but it may have been a bit farther up the road, or then again that could have been Mike, too!

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I completely agree! The looks, the sounds... nothing better!

I think it's safe to say the 32 / 33 / 34 Fords set a standard that was hard to beat.

Guilty as charged!! Blissfully so! The car ride, the show, and the company. Made for a week to remember!
