A few more windy hours and it would disappear. Does the state still pay farmers to leave 6-10 rows of corn along the edges of highways for wind blocks up there?

Not that I'm aware of, I've never heard that before.
I've seen them near Fonda and sewer city/Cherokee area before.
We've had the opposite here. There was a guy along the highway that wouldn't combine his corn till spring ( he wasn't mentally right, for real ) and the state made him combine in the fall along the highway because of all the deer being hit. I think the insurance companies put some pressure on the state to do so, for good reason. It was bad.
Wow, what a difference a week makes, worked with the shed doors open and got the T/A and Z28 out of the shed.
"Barn find". Don't wash it.
I think we're finally finished with winter as the Dandelions appeared today, I was actually glad to see one. I've never looked at them the same after I read this poem.
If a Christian would take the form of a flower, what would it be?
Some would say a rose, some might say a tulip, and yet others would say a daffodil. I on the other hand, say that a Christian is called to be a dandelion, because a dandelion has all the attributes of a Christian witness.
A dandelion is the first sign of hope in the spring
A dandelion is the first expression of love, for it is the first "flower" usually given to a mother by a small child.
A dandelion makes itself known in the neighborhood quickly
A dandelion is not conscious of class and equally casts itself on the rich and the poor.
A dandelion provides beauty and color where nothing else will grow.
A dandelion can be cut, trampled, dug up, or pulled up and still bounces back with its witness as though nothing happened.
A dandelion is a victim of slander, for some people call it a weed, but it pushes on undaunted to conquer the world.
A dandelion is very neighborly.
Wouldn't it be great if we would all act and witness like dandelions?
That would mean a LOT of dandillion wine.
I've never had dandelion wine, but it sounds awful
