    Don't trust any chemistry or physics teacher about anything automotive---------they probably couldn't get the hood open and also park on the wrong side of the gas pump---------

    And if we are going to talk about vehicle electrical flow and liquids------I have seen in several cases where the addition of an external electric fuel pump plumbed with braided lines and a poor ground at the pump can/will complete its circuitry thru the braoded shielding and ground out at the carb-----and I have seen some fires started by sparking to ground vis valve covers, manifolds--------
