    Trophy Game Hunt

I went an trophy game hunt this morning at our shop. Little bugger was trying to get into the dog food bag. After 2 missed opportunities I got him with 5 pumps at a range of about 15 feet. For firearm and ammo I was using a Daisy 880 with matching BB's. I have a permit and it was in season.

LMFAO that is awesome! It reminds me of back when my friends had a milking farm. We used to come back from a party/the bar, sneak in their milking area, flip on the lights and beat the tar out of the rats. Others would shoot the stragglers as they ran out the back. SOB's always wanted a free meal. Haha

That puts me in mind of an incident a few years back: we were over-run by feral cats, all as wild as hawks.
I sat in my daughter's bedroom one arvo with the window open and my .22 rifle on my lap.
I can't now remember how many I shot that day, somewhere around a dozen of them.
When I shot one he would twitch for several seconds after he was dead; and his mate would come out inquisitive to find out what game he was playing.
So I would shoot him too.

I piled them all into a bucket and took them down to the river and threw them over the bridge to feed the eels. (Eel is beautiful eating; particularly smoked.)
As I threw them over, an employee, Graham McCartney, came wandering over.
"What are you doing jb?" he asked.
So I just pointed over the edge of the bridge.
    "Ooh!" he said, "Catfish!"

That would have to be one of the cleverest and quickest off-the-cuff cracks I've ever heard.
