Engine Power - Saturday 28 October

The episode of Engine Power shown Saturday, October 28 at 8:30EDT/7:30CDT on CBS Sports is titled "Hemi with a Power Adder", featuring ProCharger's Jeep Grand Cherokee SR8 that they've used to develop their blower kit that's now on the market. Erik Radzins, who works for ProCharger and tunes as "Tuned by EAR" (his initials), will be on the program to discuss the features of the build and the performance changes they've seen. Should be a good show if you're interested in how they're boosting power on new vehicles these days.
Erik went to HS with one of my boys, and has been helping him with some tweaks to his 2017 F150 5.0 Coyote w/ ProCharger added, dyno'd the other day at 532HP, 432ftlbs at the wheels on 91 octane pump gas, which is flirting hard with 700hp at the flywheel, assuming 23 to 25% losses through the tranny & gears. They're thinking it would pull another 15 to 20HP on 93 octane, but 91 is what's readily available here.

That episode was on last Sunday morning here in Las Vegas; a decent show, and pretty impressive improvements in the Jeep's performance. Worth the watch.
