    More good news

     



    My grandson Ian texted me last night to tell me that he will be promoted to Corporal E-4 September 1st. He has just a tad over two years in the Corps so this promotion is much quicker than I had anticipated so he's doing something right.

    Good for him. I was trying to remember time in grade requirements from my Navy time, and it seems that two years to E-4 is about right on track if one takes advantage of every opportunity, and keeps straight.
