    Happy veteran's day

Today at my college, we had a wonderful veteran's day event. (I led the pledge of allegiance)

I wish all my fellow veterans a wonderful veteran's day.

I've been wearing an ARMY hat when ever I go out somewhere---------gets 10% off at Home Depot and Lowes but nothing at Menards----------I am amazed by the Thank you for your service by various people and also amazed at the lack of it in other places.

I want say that I sincerely appreciate it and am appaulled also-------

But from the Clayton Family we want to thank all the people that have been there for us-----All 3 of us brothers were in, and my sisters husbands and son plus many uncles/cousins --------My dad couldn't join WW2 because he was a mechanic at the Ford garage and they kept mechs working to keep the nations trucks/equip running to produce the war materials ------

Thanks to all of you and your families for your devotion in our countries time of need-------

Have nothing but praise for our veterans But Menards is 11 to 20 % off all the time.
Thank you Veterans for your service and signing that check.

At the VFW, we can't contain veteran's day to a 24 hour period.

Tonight at the post, I conducted a small program for members and guests:

First, I conducted the pledge of allegiance. Then we observed the national anthem. Finally, I narrated thevPOW/MIA white table. I barely got through it without choking up.

    It went really well.

I couldn't get on here last Friday, but I still want to thank all of you who have served, and who are currently serving! This country wouldn't be what it is without all of your sacrifices!

On the getting Veteran on your ID situation, that should be free for you vets. Dang government any how.
