Unfortunately the "upgrades" to the software Brent implemented a couple or so years ago drove away a good number of people most of which were an asset and the site has never recovered. This site is a bit more laid back than others and not as cliquish or as vain as other sites which can be a good or bad thing depending on one's point of view
This is mostly an old school site, and for the most part, we don't play well with "ricers" and computers which probably turns off a lot of the current generation. I don't see whole sale change in the future so it is what it is. I think Brent will keep this site going as long as it pays for itself and if you can put up with the anal attitude of the Canucks and the abrasiveness of the stuck in the 50's crowd, go for it.

When we were going for our degree at college did our Professors make you feel you had just quit wearing diapers and had not yet learned how to blow your nose? We all have a starting place on our experience and learning curve reguardless of whatever field of endeavor we choose. Life is like that. Its not a bowl of cherries.
