You got that right Shine! Got a scare last Saturday, had to take a ride in the ambulance to the ER.
I've got COPD, and picked up a lung infection that shut my breathing down. Turned into pneumonia.
Lots of drugs, breathing treatments, tests have helped. Hope to go home tomorrow, and finish recuperating.
Great medical staff here, and support from my family. I don't usually yak about this kind of stuff, but it's
A friendly bunch here.

glad you got on top of it. luckily my lower left lung expanded after the surgery so i breath good. just dont cool down like before and breath hard sooner. my problem is the scar tissue and nerve damage in the muscle. cant hustle like i use to . tuff living on the farm because everything is lifting and such . not something i cant live with . i get the pneumonia shot now as it would likely take me out now.
stay healthy out there .

Sorry to hear that Rich B. Listen to the Doctors, they do know what they're talking about!...Both of you take care of yourselves!

Many moons ago we used to chuckle at the "ol' folks" sittin' around comparing meds and ailments, telling stories about various doctor office visits...................now we are them.
Don't let the frustration win, just keep keepin' on, but do be careful with what use to seem like a "cold", small ache, or whatever, we just ain't as tough and able to rebound as we once did. Don't take good health for granted........

Yea, I keep on trying Bob, I try to get off this oxygen tether for 2- 4 hours in the morning to get to the shop. It takes me longer to get
something done, but I keep picking at it.
Iv'e got to find a good fresh air mask to do this last body, and paint. I got another week of recovery at least than I can get
back to the shop. I just got back home a little bit ago, feels good to relax.
Take care, Rich

That look's great for painting. I'd like to find find one that I can also use for sanding that would
allow a little more freedom of movement.
Thank's, Rich

well hell . charged the air over the weekend . discovered the motor wont take the load. spent 2 days screwing with timing and carb . finally talked to a friend who's a ford guy and now have to pull out the engine. in 84 ford retarded the cam 4 degrees . did not know this so i set the new cam straight up . sucks but the only cure is to pull it and replace the chain and gears. they looked fine so i did not replace them when i freshened up the motor . just a fyi in case you deal with a ford sb of this year or later. friggin smog crap .
