Still in the F'ing shop having the final painting done & had to get a new interior guy. The old interior guy left the windows down & out side & ruined the hardwood floors & interior he had put in it. You could have seen the steam roll out my ears when we went to go look at it. The painter knew I was more then just pissed when I said nothing & walked back to the truck w/out saying a word to him or the interior guy. I think I may hove shot the SOB if I would have had a gun or at the very least pistol whipped the taste out of his mouth. Better judgement got to me seeing I don't like a jail cell....joe

Sorry to hear about what happened to Large Marge Joe.
I know exactly how you felt.
Due to New Zealand Transport's procrastination our bus sat outside in Hamilton with just undercoat to protect it for more than a year.
When they finally got their collective asses into gear it was too late.
The whole thing had had to go back to bare metal.
    And who paid for that?

Not the ones at fault: the bureaucrats.

    It was us.

Wow Joe I missed this whole thread until now. I was going through the worst time of my life getting a divorce when your wife was hospitalized. I would like to express very late condolences now. I am also happy to hear you are doing well, and very sad too, to hear about Large Marge.

I can only imagine what went through you mind. And yes I do think about her all the time...

Last night we visited one of the many places Denise's ashes were spread in central Florida. As I walked the beach by myself I felt a bit lonely and missed her until I came to one spot. I had a sense someone was with me even though I was by myself. It was a bit sad because she was gone yet a sense of happiness knowing I was truly lucky enough to have found another woman to love me. Who knows what the future will bring but right now I am happy to be where I am.
