What a great story! It's amazing that collections like this are still being found, not really hidden away but neglected. This one's unique because of the move to Texas in '72/73, which seems like yesterday, but was 43 years ago!! I heard Wayne Carini say on one of his shows that any time he gets into a private parking garage in NYC he's scanning the spaces looking for gems parked decades back and never moved, where the family owns the parking space and it's easy to just leave it sitting. Thanks for posting!

Good stuff Em, and those Cads are very fine cars. I'm not swallowing the story of GM buying the electric "competition" to squelch the "threat", but it makes for a good story for those who don't think much.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

A fellow in a coffee shop in a small NZ town was explaining the origin of the crazy name of their shop, and he led with, "Now we never let the truth get in the way of a good story...."

My thoughts are, Hopefully they will just wipe off everything except the Patina, do a little necessary tinkering and put them in a Museum so their memory will last forever and can be enjoyed by future Generations.
