What a great story! It's amazing that collections like this are still being found, not really hidden away but neglected. This one's unique because of the move to Texas in '72/73, which seems like yesterday, but was 43 years ago!! I heard Wayne Carini say on one of his shows that any time he gets into a private parking garage in NYC he's scanning the spaces looking for gems parked decades back and never moved, where the family owns the parking space and it's easy to just leave it sitting.
