    Question Ford 302 Oil Pan

     



    Does anyone make a cast aluminum REAR SUMP oil pan?

    See listings for a front sump, but none for a REAR Sump?? Any idea why?

    Summit sells a bunch of rear sump pans for the 302, many with the small front sump that holds only a cup or two of oil, but I don't think I've ever seen a cast aluminum, rear sump oil pan for them. Nope, not sure why....

    Perhaps an Explorer might donate one?? A complete guess but I know our v6 exploder had an ally pan.
