    Silly Question

New to the site and wondering how to delete gallery picture? Seems like it should be really easy, but cannot figure out. Could not find under FAQ either.

Not a silly question at all! I have a group of pictures that somehow got into the Gallery back in 2007, and I have no idea how to delete an image that's there. I haven't used it since, and won't in the future. I only post pictures to specific threads, because the Gallery is just one big mass of pictures with virtually no way to find anything specific. I'd forget about it, post your pictures in a thread. and I doubt anyone will ever see the image you're wanting to delete.

Maybe Brent can explain how to get rid of an image....

Oh great, I thought I was losing my mind! Thanks for letting me know, Roger! I did actually add my pictures to my "for sale" ad in the thread, but I ended up with pictures in my gallery because I didn't know how to put them on my thread and that was part of the learning process. Same pictures.
    Thanks Again!

For starters, make a paper effigy, using your latest internet bill.

Then, bring the picture up on your laptop, and set the paper effigy in an ashtray in front of the laptop. Now comes the tricky part: light the effigy while uttering your most vehement curse.

    Should fix it up nicely.

Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

    That's clever!
    I wish I'd said that.

Upper right hand corner: Click "Settings"
Scroll down to Miscellaneous and Click "Attachments"
Check off which pictures you want to delete, scroll to bottom, hit delete, confirm, you are done.

Galley Pictures are a little different:

Click on a picture in your gallery
When it opens, over on the right hand side you should see a drop down button marked "Photo Options" Click it and scroll down and see if there is a "delete" button you can push. Go from there.

if no "delete" button option, then an email to Brent might be in order with a request.

Went to the gallery and went to the photo options and "delete" is not one of those options. Not a huge deal, but is nice to keep things clean. guess better send an email to Brent. Thanks Bill.
