I hear yah, in my neighborhood, Petaluma may look the other way, as most of our officers seem to enjoy hot rods and motorbikes, but just to the north 8 miles in Cotati, drive by a cop with modified exhaust(esp on a Harley) and expect a fix it ticket. I'd have done the same thing bob keeping in my trunk for the day I get pulled over and explain the the officer, how I had just put them on to see if they were too loud, and had these handy just in case!
My brother up in Steilacoom says the same about the political climate of these two places!
