I was going to work on the three projects that I've been hamering away at all summer.. but... it seems my uncle found a beam under the farm house that is giving up. I guess we can't really complain, it's been in there since 1790 sumpthin..

OOOooo.. I'd love to see a bunch of steel like that under there.. Instead I've got hand hewn half trees with the bark still on it.

When I asked my uncle how high I got to push it up to... he answered, push it back to about 1900 or so!

You remember that I am the one who doesn't do "ol skool retro" right??? I'm not even aware of any friends who'd consider such a thing!

If they'd let me I would've had the house raised and a whole new foundation put under it. But everyone always says I go to the extreme.. but they ain't under it jacking it up!

Man o Man you guys have some hard lives... Cold weather, rebuilding 200+ year old houses, tractors and bailers in ditches, etc. sounds like a hand full? Im all bum'ed out because I cant get anyone to go camping this weekend as it might rain. I have desert fever really bad.
