I'm going back to play farmer tomorrow. I won't be taking my daughter now....... My MIL called my wife last night in a franic and said she had night mares the last 4 nights that something bad was going to happen to our daughter this weekend involving a tractor and the death of her. Well, that was the end of her going. Weird deal. Anyway, Sunday I have to try to weld some cracks on the MIL's Kia's K member, then who knows what. Today I mowed the pastures at my parent's house maybe for the last time this season. I might remove the belly mower and put the 3pt from my dad's old H on my Super H and then get a round bale stabber for it. The Super H may tear the ground up less than our skid loader this winter moving round bales. Plus we have a pretty heavy 3pt blade that may come in handy. This morning it was 28* and I turned the gas and ignition on, and that old SH fired up after I touched the starter lever. I couldn't believe that. Before I left I tried my A John Deere and it took a bit more but did start. It has a Power Block an a little more compression than a stock one, and it definitely does not like cold weather.

On the way home from work last night, it was around 7pm, there was a combine 1/2 in the road, 1/2 in the ditch --
right side rear wheel assembly was at a 45* angle to the road, the left side rear wheel assembly was looking like it wanted to turn left!
There was a repair rig there. I feel bad for the guy -- I know that is Nothing like replacing a break hub money wise, time wise, or frustration wise!!
    No threadjack intended...Just odd coincidence...
