That has always been systematic of the site, for who knows why. The forum application is clunky somewhat also.

A while back as a public service, I offered up some memory for free. We were doing upgrades, server removals and new system installs. The hardware was going to the shredders, so all was legit, not putting my job in jeopardy that's a given.

But never got an answer back, not even a no thanks.... mum

My Weekend was Thursday and Friday. Spent thursday bottling up some Hard Pear Cider and Friday Patching the holes in my back yard lawn with new sod. After two attempts of reseeding this summer, I decided to buy some sod that was on sale for 1.68 a roll. Bought ten rolls, rotatillered the dead spots out racked the debrie away and patched in the new stuff. Checked in with my mechanic and upped the honey do list of things for him to check, but that's as close as I got working on the truck which is still in his shop. I think december 31st it will come home reguardless if it's not ready, been too long already!

Here are some pics from our saturday adventures. The little man is Clint our 2yr old. He had fun, but switching the car seat and kid goodies every round to get in another truck got old. :LOL: He got to ride in one of the quad trac tractors for a couple of hours and he was on top of the world.

Heck Id be on top of the world to ride in a Quad tractor as well! looks like a blast. Ive never been around anything that big other than like C-5 aircraft. LOL Very cool and it wont be anytime at all and he will be driving that monster.

He might be a gear jammer, you never know. I don't mind doing it on the weekends. I'm not sure if I'd like it everyday though. :LOL: Running that quad track daily may be another story though. Haha

Looking at him grin in that one pic makes it all worth it I'd say!

Nice Mark! I'd love to be a farmer. These uys have 2 big New Holland combines that nearly take up the whole highway with no head on them. I'll get pics of one on Saturday. They have only been able to run one lately as beans are too wet still. That corn we were hauling Saturday was 18.8 and it needs to be below 14.2 I believe to take to the elevator. My friend farms with his uncle and he isn't sure what's going to happen when his uncle retires and he's worried he won't be able to buy him out with the price of land and everything else. Hopefully his uncle hangs in there a while longer.

Put me behind that wheel, I'll tie the tyke for that grin!

Closest I've ever come to being in a combine was driving a 15 passenger van full of teenagers down a Southern Montana country hiway, coming around a sweeping turn to see the maw spinning blades, so wide there was no road on either side of the spinning blades, no spotter truck, driving right at us. We were heading right at it at 55 mph, locked up the brakes, because there was nowhere to go but off a steep ditch to either side, feeling the trailer behind us fish tail. Scared the $#@% out of me but we managed to avoid an accident. What kind of idiot would take one of those down a hiway without a safety crew ahead and behind it! We called it a come to Jesus moment!
