New part came in on the 1'st and had it installed.

Well got my new knee installed on the 1st of the month.
Stay in the hospital for 10 days this time so I could have some help instead of coming home after 3 days like I did with my right knee back in April.
Doc said this knee was twice as bad as the other one he did first.
Anyway after surgery I started getting muscle spasms in the new knee leg for about a day and a half. Needless to say I didn't walk the first day like I did when I had my first knee done. Lots of pain, had my leg sore the first week and a half. Anyway I start out patient rehab today, but I am getting around fine already. Just trying not to bump it on anything so I don't split it open. They took the staples out and now I have butterfly stitches that have started to come off. These new knees are supposed to last 20 years so I should be good to go for a while. Glad I live in today's age where they can slap them new parts in there or I might be sporting a H.O. wheelchair around instead. Kurt

new parts are a great thing. Anyone who has a bad knee and doesn't go get it replaced has no idea the differance it would make. Glad your coming along well

My wife is three years into her new knee. Recently told the doctor that it was the best part of her current body, doesn't hurt, works like a charm. Good Luck.

So far so good it's still sweld a little though, but it will take a while for it to go down.
After all it has been swollen for the last 10 years.
