Wow, that had enough variety to satisfy anyone. Thanks.
Beautiful pictures!
I also do the point and shoot deal sometimes. Then sometimes I want to "polish" some of the pics. Remove trash cans in the background or people even.. I find it fun to share pics and enjoy doing it.. And when guys like yourself enjoy it enough to say thanks.. it all becomes worth the effort. When I go through the work and no one replys.. it becomes a big chore and I wonder why I do it.
So as always, R2 - thanks for making the time to respond!
Just three words "Above and Beyond"
Good to see you made it home safely, Mike. It was good to meet you, and glad you were able to ride down to the show in Ottawa with me Sunday! Even with only about 1/2 of the cars being back it was still a good show, and excellent weather, too.
Good job Mikey, and looks like it was a nifty trip. I for one applaud your extra effort in presentation, adds to the enjoyment.
Now, as for capturing the sound of that '32 roadster I'll ask you the same question a fellow from Japan recently shot at me when I told him I didn't have a video recorder........................"don't you have a cell phone??".
...and my answer to this would be "No."
People only ring me when they want something, so they can ring me when it suits me, not when it suits them, and when it suits me is in the evening when I've finished for the day.
That's when I've got the time to sit and talk...
Wow, nice pics and cool trip! If you ever get this close to Iowa again let me know!!!
That Black and Maroon 33 or 34 with the blown BBC is Jake Lawler'sfrom KC. He told me it's 1000hp and he drives it every night.
Thanks for sharing. There were several gorgous cars. I really liked the Great 8 car. That machine work and all those pieces are awesome!
It was great having time to hang out with you.. if I haven't said it enough thanks so much for the hospitality! I had a blast... Some time next year Speedy Bills museum gets another 50000 sq ft added to it so they can show the whole collection... maybe we can try again to get there together? They will probably forego guided tours as they won't have the number of volunteers needed to handle it all. Even the motor shop is all volunteers! They do not do any restorations there, just preservations.
