Ryan, I think all of the digital cameras out there can be set to record the image at different resolutions before shooting. I don't know of any that have the ability to shoot at high resolution, then reduce the file size on the camera but there may be some out there. I believe that's a feature of the computer software. If I shoot high res I upload to my laptop, then in the Windows Live Photo Gallery I enter the edit mode, select all of the photos as a large group and resize them all at one time. It saves a new, reduced image along with the originals, all in the same folder. I normally use a smaller point & shoot camera for car shows, and I keep it set on 4:3 VGA mode, which is for e-mail attachments, etc. Those will upload directly without any reduction needed.Last edited by rspears; 09-26-2014 at 01:38 PM.
