    My .02 - do NOT put juice to it.

    The peeling chrome tells of long term moisture, plus those capacitors have a near zero chance of working.

    However, if you insist on making it live again, it sounds like a wonderful candidate for complete restoration.

    If you do decide to power it I believe that you'll find that the Packard wiring system was a positive ground system.

    No decissions yet. Waiting to see if anyone wants it that's got a Packard to put it in. If they do it's theirs for shipping and my cost.
