    200 MPG? you tell me

I don't know if this has any credibility BUT, if it does, then the ?Industry? had better get busy once the word is out. Especially before the Gooberment gets ahold of it.

Since liquid gasoline will not burn, all cars run on gasoline vapor. This vapor idea has been around for years. There is a certain amount of energy in a gallon of gasoline and from that amount of energy, some amount of work can be extracted. Improving the efficiency of the system is what it's all about...thus high pressure FI systems, computer controls, etc.

Like Robot says, a gallon of conventional gasoline brings nominal 114,500 BTU/gallon, whether it's in liquid or vapor form. Smokey Yunick developed his "Hot Vapor" engine years back, and the best he did was 51mpg, but he was chasing high performance at maximum efficiency, not just mpg - smokey Ynick, Hot Vaor Fiero, Best Damn Garage in town smokey Ynick, Hot Vaor Fiero, Best Damn Garage in townLegendary Collector Cars . Those YouTube Magicians are playing games and making claims that won't stand up to actual verification. PT Barnum called it years ago....

I'm a little suspicious, especially with the can's vent (yellow) is open on the vapor side. And, makes you think maybe someone turned the motor off when he covered the inlet hoses, especially when only two of the three were covered.

Makes a good video. Although when somebody really tries this, it won't be so funny when their motor backfires and catches the gas can on fire under the hood.
