Thread: Apologies to all Los Angelians!

We're in Los Angeles now, 9:00 am Thursday 24th July.
Flew in last night from Heathrow via Glasgow, fourteen hours in planes and airports.
And not allowed a ciggy!
Departing for LAX around 1:00 pm; not enough time to contact anyone.
From there we leave for Auckland (NZ) International, and from there to New Plymouth.
About another twelve hours without a smoke.

So if you locals look up and see an Air New Zealand plane flying over about 3:00 pm, give it a wave . . . it could be us!

Your becoming a real JET SETTER. Maybe they will let you smoke out on the wing..LOL Have a safe trip

Hope you & Rosie kicked the Scottish bug you'd picked up, jb, and that the end of your trip was better than the middle! Safe travels.

Dump them Cigs, Mate, so you can be like me and live long enuff to be a TOTAL PITA ! Believe me it's a BLAST.

And jet sitter is right is right on the button too!
Eleven hours of sitting and the bum gets numb . . . not fun!
Can't really complain though but; the same trip took my forebears three months or more.

(And at least I had a book to read: 'The Compleat Para Handy'. Just about finished it too!)
