Well, I kinda hate to disperse the cloud of mystery surrounding mine but.....it's my name. No, really.
Haha!
Actually, I think I stumbled across CHR as I was searching for some answers for my 37 Ford project back in '07. I had to register to see the pics. It was late. I just wanted to get to the information. Thus, "randyr" got me in. Since then as I joined other forums, saw other user names, I decided to get a little more descriptive and started using "37Fordguy", but, of course it was too late to switch on CHR.

I have used my name so that people will realize its me???????????I've been in lots of places and done lots of things in my 73 years, so this is the easiest way that folks will be able to find me, and/or realize that its me---of course that's assuming that they realize Jerry also sorta means Gerald---------could of used Illinois Farm Boy, Mule Team Driver, drag racer, pilot, army veteran, engine builder, car builder, ETC

I used to really be into pontiac transam (s), the 77 being my all time favorite.
At the time I coined my moniker, I was driving a 78 firebird which I had picked up as a basket case, and had reassembled with parts from a 77 which has been wrecked. It was a 78 shell with all else from the 77..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

I had gone by sunsetdart for many years cause I had a pro street 66 Dart that was painted by me in colors that faded from purple to orange to red. I got the inspiration from watching a sunset one night. Then I sold the car about 8 years ago and starting building my 50 Plymouth wagon with a chopped top.
So I changed my sign on name to chopt50wgn. I figured it would be more appropriate now.

When my wife was pregnant we decided that if it was a boy his first and middle name would be August Mariner. We had a girl, I liked the name so now I use it on the web.The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

Two possibilities exist:
Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not.
Both are equally terrifying.

That is terrible, sad to hear about him.
