    Great post, I can relate to your thread. I am a retired pipe welder for over 40 years. I always thought my 2 sons would have done something different but both are pipe fitter/welders who are now both piping contractors. Two grandsons also pipe welders. I would have liked to see someone in the family do something different.

    A family full of welders usually don't stay together much, as they are always on the road. LOL! but we are all close in spirit, and all are car nuts.

    Pipe welder!! WOW!! Lets see some pictures of your welds!!(If you have some) When I was working in construction(carpenter)I would always wander over to where fitters were welding,You would see the most amazing welds ever produced with a stick welder,pure artwork!! Pete
