My son-in-law took his 11 year old son to Indianapolis to see the Chief's debacle Saturday, spent the night and were heading back this morning. They made it to Effingham a little before noon and decided to stop and get a room instead of taking the chance of being off the road. He's in a "new" F150 truck, but said that I70 looked like it had not been traveled when they stopped, no lane clear, and no tracks to follow because the snow & wind were so bad. Hoping for better roads through Illinois and western Missouri tomorrow morning.
