Don't know the sound of a Chinook, but the sounds of the Huey are haunting coming in low and slow! I think all the Viet Nam Vets were moved by it's addition to the Parade.
I was actually surprised to see the Civil War dressed guys in the Parade, but they represent what is important about Vets, the sacrifice for the freedoms we still enjoy. Like Glenn said, thanks to all who have served and their families.
It was fun seeing the 1940's uniforms and the women dressed up dancing with the troops, as well as WW1 troops. I was sad when the POW float went by, it just seems the pain will never end there.
