Happy Veterans Day to all, even that old guy looking back at me from the mirror-------Yesterday we had a get together at my sisters house in Atlanta Il with me, her, and our older brother (retired NAvy) from Florida---he just last week had 5 stints replaced, so its precious times that we do see each other----


After hours of talking about Veterans Day for veterans we got around to talking about how we used to look forward to it---not to honor our uncles, neighbors,etc who had SERVED, but going hunting with them because that's when some part of hunting season opened
(maybe quail season) and there would be probably7 or 8 and sometimes more-----of course us kids, had to jump up and down on the brush piles to scare out the rabbits ---------------
