Thread: Car shows that hand out trophys

I had been in a club who did an annual show that was judged. One year a club from the neighboring town came to our show as we had attended theirs and they wanted to return the courtesy. One of their members kept moving from row to row... Our President said no more, turns out they kept moving because a "better" car (more competition) would enter that same class and that would make the mouth breather scared that he wouldn't get a trophy.

When it was all said and done, he did not get a trophy, because his car wasn't in the same league as those who did win and, he threw a tantrum and some very nasty language was used and his own club tossed him out from our show and banned him as a member from the club and they couldn't apologize enough to us!

Since then I look down on the trophy hunters..

i belong to a local site that is 90% import supported and you should hear the crying they do when they dont get throphies at shows .. even those with audi R8`s and hi end exotics lose to hot rods and muscle cars but when i tell them to hold their own import specific events they cry foul for excluding them ..
