    Steve Saleen is back!!!

    Showed his new Supercar at Pebble Beach, and a new George Follmer edition Mustang is out now!

    The man does stay busy, especially now that he's back in charge at Saleen!!!! Here's a link to some of the stuff he's up to;

    He brings new meaning to the word Driven! And a 470 Hoss Mustang that'll handle like a Saleen should! Sure to put a smile on your face..

    Maybe if I sold my Pickup, the '57, the 'Maro, my (almost unused) trailer, and some other stuff I could afford the down payment on one?????? Years ago I had an opportunity to do a few laps on the road course at Brainerd in a Saleen Mustang! I can only imagine what this new one with the smoothness and wide powerband of the new engines is like!!!!! I would think that with 470 hp and a 6 speed in addition to all the great handling of one of the worked over Saleen suspension cars would be one heck of a good ride!!!!

    I read in that same link (different article) that the 2015 Mustangs will be sold in Australia----getting closer, anyway!

    Back in the middle 70's I found a Pantera at a local dealer and began discussion in trying to make it mine. Once we factored in the actual payments, including insurance and taxes, not to mention projecting out fuel costs, I had to realize that it was just out of my reach!

    Kinda like me getting ANY Saleen madel today!

    yeah,Dave..They will be..But probably a diluted job..Will probably be a plain jane with a V6 in it,,which means,,the numbered builds that we are allowed to import LHD,now,,will be stopped,,because we will be able to buy a RHD Mustang out of Aussie.. That will upset the Mustang collectors down here..
