    51 chevy value

I just bought a 51 chevy fleetline deluxe buisness coupe from the original owner. This car runs great has a little rust and is completly original . It has the 216 inline 6 and car only has 10,000 original miles on it !!! yes 10,000. would have been less but i took it golfing. I was going to restore this car as im in that buisness but dont know if i should do a whole lot before i sell it that might ruin its value. Any sugestions would be appreciated.
    thanks

My thoughts are to keep them all hahahahaha but since you're wanting to turn it and it has the weaker 216 in it (babbit crank I'm thinking?) I would check the market such as Ebay, Craigslist, American Dream Cars, Hotrod Hotline and others to see what other owner think they are worth. Those little business coupes make some "wicked looking" low stance Cruisers.

Good LUck and keep us in the loop on this, OK?

One more thing, if I may, check your PM I am sending you a link with several '51s of all different conditions that should help you get a better fix of where your Cheby fits into things. There's one roller on a trailer that they are asked $2600 for but that really doesn't mean anything except what "THEY" think it's worth.
