Vintage Bowtie's to be Auctioned in Sept !

If you have time to watch the Video it is a pretty nice experience. The first thing out is a '58 Cameo PU with ONE (yes I said ONE) mile on it.

It's quite a story of a small town Nebraska dealer who was a bit eccentric, not wanting to pass on any potential safety issues with "old" cars traded in so he just kept them along with any new stock that didn't sell by the time the next years models came out. Problem is with all of the publicity the prices will likely be through the roof with people convinced that an old truck or car is worth a fortune just because it's never been registered.

Definitely some great automobiles and undoubtedly a stash of good factory parts here as well. The publicity - while good for the auction - will bring a lot of folks and there will be few (if any) real bargains. Would have been nice to find this cache and deal it privately!

I look at this as the "supreme" barn find of something that has been "preserved" and out of the weather for many years and now someone else will have the opportunity to enjoy them - - - - and hopefully they will be bought by real appreciators of Classic Autos. I would love to go and watch but my hands would have to be handcuffed behind my back.
