    Forum doesn't like me

I've been having problems logging on and posting with my home computer. I get messages like "Don't have permission" and sometimes the page won't load as if I lost connection. I think this is ISP number related because when I use any portable devices like i-phone, i-pad, never have any problems with the different ISP number than my home computer. Could someone have placed restrictions on my account that are tied to my ISP number?

Welcome to the club!! Many have been critical about these very topics for quite some time....

But the owners / powers that be, work to support their families and have many "other interests"... so they'll get to us eventually!

    (sigh...)

Im having similar issues here as well... This site is ultra slow for some reason. It is by far is much slower than other forums that I visit. For some reason it doesn't let me go to the home page. Says

M.T.1, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

That happens to us all pretty much! We get the same message and sometimes it's like the site just freezes and goes away!?!?!

I guess we're suckers for the punishment.. we keep coming back!

I think last time it got this bad it was a server (or something like that) problem.... Sometimes it gets better, sometimes worse. It'll be fixed eventually, usually is....

Yeah, today it's been going into the twilight zone more than it's been on for me. Comes on, then try to access something and it times out and goes away for an hour or two. Been this way too much lately, IMO.

OK, thanks for all that. I now know it isn't my account here, everyone is having some issues. The thing that threw me was not even being able to get a page to load and timing out, but being able to load a page from another device that has a different ISP number.

i have been having similar problems,,and usually,I can get on okay,,but the last few days have been a hassle..Sometimes,,if i am logged on,,and go away from the puter, for some hours, and come back..it's frozen on me,,and it's easier to log out and back on a few minutes later, until last night..Logged off,,couldnt get back on,,so left it for an hour or two.. I get the same message..''lamin8r,you do not have permission....''etc,and I hit the home button,on that message, and I'm straight in...,in fact,it happens regularly..and it has been slower than other sites I go to..

Same for me sometimes and it is the same on "Club Cobra", one of Brents other sites. Hope we do not lose a bunch when it crashes bad.

    Brent sends the following:

I have been battling some unknown performance problems over the last couple of weeks...processes are getting into a funky state and consuming too many resources. I'm have spent many hors recently trying to solve the problem....if you could pass this along, and I'll continue to try and solve. I'm going to try and update PHP and MySQL as well....
