    It's all over the local channels this morning along with the evacuation of the Miami airport.
    Thoughts and prayers for all those involved in this horrible accident in West. Prayers also go out for the caregivers and those helping in the aftermath.

    Yeah,Gary..I hope it's all it is too,,bad timing.. Fertiliser factories have always been sort of a smouldering timebomb of sorts..Ammonia gases/and whatever else goes into the brew is a volatile mix.. definitely not good last night..Prayers for the survivors,and especially those who had/have to go in and search for bodies..

    Yeah Robin, what I heard was a suspicious looking package was discovered and total evacuation began but I never heard any follow up on it. Gary, according to our local channels, the VFD had been called in to deal with some smoldering and then the explosion happened which killed several Fire Fighters. I imagine they'll give a good report on the evening news today.

    That Ammonium Nitrate is realy bad stuff. They make bombs with it. AND beleave it or not some STREET drugs have this in them. The farmers around here have to hide it. Or use it as soon as they get it.
