Sure are a lot of rumors but I haven't heard anything concrete yet. Has anyone else heard any factual news? I've got a good friend that is working (volunteer) at the Marathon and he hasn't posted on any of the Forums today. Prayers are going out for the people involved, those helping and the families.

Personaly I don't think it was sponcered by any big group or there would have been a lot more injuries (bigger bombs). It is best to wait cool & down. Prayers go out to those involved and there families.
Prayers go out to all those people and their families! This was probably done by some low life POS with no regaurd to anyone else. Like Charlie said, I doubt it was done by a big time out fit. But who knows anymore. If you go on CNN and look at the comments section, it'll just make you more mad. People are clueless anymore!

I'm keeping my eyes and ears open for follow up reports or clues as to the responsible party/ies, but so far I haven't heard anything reliable about that. My nephew is a doc at one of the Boston hospitals, not sure which one, but he called his mom just as I was on the phone with her talking about this bombing.
Just heard on our 10AM news,that there are two confirmed dead,,and it sounds like someone in hospital with shrapnel wounds,is possibly involved,as they/he/her/it is under police guard..Sorry,it's just what I heard on the news,so i am not sure what the source is..
I didn't think of the care takers who are doing everything they can.I pray for them as well as for the victims.

Mello, your friend was really lucky. Shoot, a lot of people were really lucky. Shrapnel, ball bearings, etc, doesn't care what it goes through. It just does. They are also very lucky the others were discovered before they were set off. I hope they can find whom ever responsible before the media has it all screwed up like the Connecticut situation...........................

Mark said that some of our "finest" had come to run the Race in full gear with pack and had just plopped down to rest and catch their breath when the first bomb exploded. He said they immediately jumped to their feet and ran to assist in any way possible. God Bless our Service men and women, Em

At the FBI's news conference today the released pictures of the two individuals they want to question concerning the bombings. Hope these photos get spread all over the country (and the rest of the world) and the two are located and arrested SOON!!!!! There are so many rumors being started about the case that the sooner these two are caught, the less chance there will be of some reactionary individual or group doing something stupid to try to either resolve the issue on their own or use this bombing as an excuse to attack others based on who they think did it!!!!!!
Took off the tractors snowthrower and installed the mower deck, along with some new blades.. then took the tractor around the yard, mowing the lawn... Do some of my best thinking, the sun is warm & the grass is green..
I'm sorry for all the dead and injured, but I can't change that and now have to hope that our laws and justice systems can prevail and capture the guilty and they get what they deserve... ranting / raving won't change anything and getting the blood boiling for no good reason..

Law Enforcement seems to be all over the hunt for the remaining suspect, one was shot last night (after he killed a Boston Policeman) the second one got away..... News is saying police have the second one located now!!!!!!!
PS--Just to show how an incident like this involves so many people with varying interests, the Policeman who was shot last night has a brother who is a mechanic in the Hendricks Engine Shop.....
Maybe, if they take him alive, they can put him in a cell next to Nadal Hasan so they can compare notes and accomplishments.
