Anyone else watching?

HMmmm.. all in all, a rather tame race.. considering the location. Kurt Busch had a scary ending to his day with a fire after losing the brakes he wisely took it to the wall on the straight.

Yup..Not much,but some of it..It was live coverage,so it started at about 4.30AM down here.. and,no,i wasn't getting up to watch it at that hour.. Picked it up about 6.30,and watched bits of it for about an hour,off and on..Missed the pile up,but it must have taken a few out..Don't even know who won..

Jimmy Johnson won it. Some exciting moments in there with some rubbin' & bangin'.. After the race Harvick got in some retalitation so it'll be interesting what NASCAR says about it on Tuesday.

I'll watch it later so I'm not reading all of what you guys are saying.

Back in the early '90's I was on a business trip in SC and then traveling north into VA and without planning it or really even knowing exactly where I was I'm driving down a little back road, make a turn and suddenly I'm in from of Martinsville Speedway. So I figure how cool! and look around, nothing going on since it's late on a mid week afternoon, I drive into the parking area and notice an underpass under the grandstand is open so I drive my rent-a-car Olds Cutlass right out on the track before a couple guys run over and tell me I can't do this! I'm still sorry I didn't just take a lap or two.

Tough track to race, Johnson & Knaus (along with the rest of the Hendricks organization) really have the place figured out!!!!

He looked good on new tires, after a few laps ... not so much!
