    Roger, if I had your money I'd get me one of those.................

    I see no P38 has signed up yet, I hope they snag one. It would make for a neat contrast to compare these two as different approaches to twin engine ground support fighters.

    Yeah, right!! If only it were true!!

    I agree 100% on the P38. I've never seen a Lightning flying, and would dearly love to see one - they are a thing of beauty with the twin tail, twin engine design. And to see a P38 and F7F together? A touch of heaven on earth! Come to Kansas, Bob! You'd have a ball!
