A one time (in)famous Kiwi,by name of Barry Crump, once told a tale, about the hunting days in NZ,,in which he said it was so cold, that he and his companion were in the bush hut for a week, not being able to go out..They had a good supply of firewood,so kept the fire burning 24/7..The temp dropped one night,to a point where the smoke froze as it was leaving the chimney, and kept them awake all night,as it rolled off the roof of the hut..The next morning, they found they couldn't open the door,as all of the frozen chunks of snow were piled up around the hut,,so they had to stay inside until it warmed up..
The next day,the sun came out,and started to thaw the icy smoke, and snow that was piled up around the hut..Problem was,it turned to smog,,and filled the gullies around the hut,so they couldn't see 10 feet in front of them anyway,,so the hunting was off until the smog cleared..

Now,who was talkin about the cold??
