Sweet. Got my Garand last year around this time. Bought the service grade (3006) Springfield. It arrived almost 1 year ago to date. Looked Brand new. Great deals Thought about going for one of the 308's after reading they were making some 3006 conversions. Now it's range time and the wonerful M-1 Thumb!
Gotta love the Ping too! post some pics. They seem to sight them in too. Mine was 2" from Bullseye at 100 yds through the sites, right out of the box!

I check in everyday and some are better than others. I don't think Brent has anything to do with the forum anymore, but I'm not sure. Hopefully as time moves on the forum will get better.
