You sure got that right, Dave. Back in those days a guy with good mechanical and fabrication skills, a little bit of money behind him, and a wild imagination could build a unique competitive car (like A.J. Watson, George Salih, Quinn Epperly, Frank Kurtis, etc.). Now you have to have a whole school full of engineers and truckloads of money just to be like everyone else.
