Interesting thread for me! My old Nikon quit working couple weeks ago and I've got to go shopping for a new one---eventually. I was in to film cameras pretty heavy a few decades back, then lost interest in them until the digital cameras started emerging. Started out with a cheapo Kodak, moved up to a Nikon Coolpix a number of years back, and now I'm going to go to a digital SLR. Been looking at a couple different Nikon models and a Cannon. Haven't done much studying on them yet, but it's definitely on my round-to-it list!!!!

Nice setup, too much stuff for a crazy old Norwegian like me!!! Thinking my budget is about going to be about $600 for the replacement camera.
