We had planned on moving to Virginia from Upstate NY - 750 miles - and had made 8 trips house hunting. Found the right house, wrong location and vice versa many times. OK - spring ahead a 18 months. For several reasons that have come up, we aren't. I calculated that it would take a pro mover one trip and me at least 4 additional just to bring a lifetime of treasures. The big RV, my '31, the tractor, my two rooms of shop equipment, car and wood. And this was after I had done several swap meets selling bits and pieces I knew I would never use.
