I haven't thought about "The X stations" in a long time; can't even remember the call signs - seems another one was XTRA. We were still listening to one or another in the seventies on our late night jaunts back to "The OC" from visiting my Brides folks in San Diego - kids camped out in the back of the '70 Chevy longroof, radio tuned in to Wolfman Jack or Doctor Demento, and us "old folks" trying to keep each other from dozing off.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.
