Steve, I'll chime in one more time then go back to lurking. This is still my favorite place. While I took Bill (Mr Mustang) to task by implication, I do realize it's his thankless PT job - I just wasn't happy with, as Roger said, my knuckle rap. And if added up, my 3rd under this name and my previous site name. But, that's me so will lurk and jump in occasionally.

Now, as far as being friendly - I belong here, Hotrodders.com and SBFTech, Ford Truck Enthusiasts among others that I visit very occasionally and have to say, no comparison to here. I gave up on NSRA UK after being totally ignored/shunned as an American intruder plus the fact that those running that show dumped my sign in ability several times.

I have noticed that even the huge Hotrodders.com site - they had a fairly recent change in ownership and many of the 'old folks' have gone. It too has changed, and not necessarily for the best as it is probably 70% newbies (we all were once) with less then 25 posts - of which 90% seem to be repetitious Chevy V8 engine questions, all of which have been asked numerous times over the 11 years of that site. But, life goes on. The site changes here - took some getting used to and several of the folks just couldn't cope with the change. So be it! there are sites that will suit their tastes. I miss their input as well and hope that most are not too proud to eventually return.

And yes, I'll hang around, but wont post very often. Sore knuckles at my vintage - hurt, and I am opinionated, so...............
