I was at a run over on Waiheke Island a few years back when a kid of about ten climbed up omto the back of the '47 and walked across the rear splash pan.
Its mother got a bit uppity with me when I bellowed at the kid; so I bellowed at her too. (Just to keep things equal and fair...if she can't train her kid to behave correctly she deserves a bellow too.)

"I'd never climb on your furniture; don't let your your idiot child walk on my car!"

The husband/father didn't want any of this; he went as fast as his legs would carry him to somewhere/anywhere else.

I somehow got the impression that neither of them (mother and daughter,) liked me very much.
Dunno what the cause of that could be.

But I doubt that kid will ever touch another car; let alone climb on it.
