    With all due respect to all involved, that photo illustrates a parental control problem, not an exposed pipe problem.

    Tech, I'd agree in a normal situation, but as I stated in the lead in his Mama (my daughter) knew well that I had arrived to help prepare the food three to four hours before, so she knew that there was no danger from Grandpa's car. You're right though, if a kiddo gets burned it's quite likely indicative of a parenting problem, but that kind of parent is usually the kind that screams loudest about it being someone else's fault, or worse goes running to a sleazy attorney....
