It's old dried ink, but ink just the same. I went to a buddies shop today & lettered an old 1/4 midget race caah. The guy buys & sells at swap meets & is off tomorrow to try to pedal the midget. While talking I told him my old panel truck was in Rod Action magazine back in the 70's. He said what year & month mag was it in? He took me to a back room that is filled to the brim with magazines all cataloged. He pulls out a November '78 issue & says here ya' go, I'll keep my eye out for more. I thought that was pretty cool.....
