taking a beating
Holy cow, one doesn't realize what he forgets until it hits him in the wallet, then it is total hindsight..gee, I should have remembered that.
I used to do all my own wrenching, so mistakes mostly cost me time. Now I am just doing the little stuff, so mistakes co$t me.
Add to it other people's mistakes, and I feel like I'm taking a real beating.
Hell, I've only been away from the hobby for a few years, didn't think I would get this far behind the power curve..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Yep our labor is cheap compared to outsourcing!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
Another question, I was told this engine takes 6 quarts of oil. Is that correct? It's a remanufactured 350 with stock pan.
